Guests can awake to birdsong, meander through the extensive
grounds and watch the neighbouring cows on occasion.
Based in an oasis of peace and quiet,
our guests are ideally situated to explore the east side of Golden Bay with its
abundance of short walks
(e.g. nearby Rameka Track).
In addition, the centre of Takaka with its vibrant, bustling lifestyle, complete
with interesting shops, restaurants and cafes is only a 10 minute drive away.
Our Packard Road is lovely to walk or cycle, to visit nearby
Rawhiti Caves, and to get onto the cycleway that runs from Takaka to Pohara.
It's about 8 minutes
to Pohara Beach, and the golden sands of Totaranui in Abel Tasman National Park are only half an hour
drive away.
